Pre-eclampsia and the anaesthetist

Andrew H Shennan MBBS MD FRCOG is Professor of Obstetrics at King’s College London. He qualified with MBBS in 1985 from St Mary’s Hospital Medical School and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2003, UK. He leads the clinical research programme within the Maternal and Fetal Research Unit into the causes of low birth weight and pre-eclampsia. Conflicts of interest: none declared
