Principles of cardiac anaesthesia

John WW Gothard MBBS Dip(Obst) RCOG FRCA is a Consultant Cardiothoracic Anaesthetist at the Royal Brompton Hospital. He qualified from St Mary's Hospital Medical School, London, in 1971. He has written several textbooks on cardiac and thoracic anaesthesia and has a clinical practice encompassing adult and paediatric cardiac anaesthesia. Conflicts of interest: none declared
